Brent Patterson is the former political director of the Council of Canadians. He was in charge of political campaigns on a wide range of issues, including anthropomorphic climate change. Patterson contends that the narrow window of 12 years presented to the world by the IPCC calls on all of us to take decisive action now. He profiles recent actions of civil disobedience in Germany, Sweden, France, and the U.K. by groups such as Extinction Rebellion.
