Erin Weir is an economist with the Canadian Labour Congress who has worked for the Government of Canada’s Treasury Board Secretariat, Department of Finance and Privy Council Office. He holds a BA from the University of Regina, an MA from the University of Calgary, and a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University.
This paper is adapted from Erin’s submission to the Standing Committee on the Economy of the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly.
