TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 16, 11 am: GLOBAL HUNGER STRIKE FOR GAZA—STOP ISRAEL’S GENOCIDE OF PALESTINE, 1975 SCARTH ST, (corner of Scarth St & Victoria Ave) GOVERNMENT OF CANADA BUILDING
The gathering will commemorate the Sabra and Shatila massacre of 1982, in which thousands of civilians lost their lives, and will call attention to the ongoing cycles of violence and suffering faced by the Palestinian people. If you are interested in joining them and participating in an 8-24 hour hunger strike contact Ed Lehman at 306-718-8010 or Noor Mitri at 306-596-3033. Everyone is welcome whether fasting or not—to show solidarity.
