SPECIAL REQUEST: CANS4CUBA INITIATIVE
The Cuba Solidarity Committee Regina (CSCR) is continuing its fundraising efforts in support of Cuba through a can drive.
If you are planning to donate aluminum cans and other recyclables to SARCAN, please consider donating to our Cans4Cuba initiative. Proceeds will go towards sending supplies such as alternative energy sources, medicine, and other vital necessities to Cuba. Donations can be made by using our group phrase: “vivacuba” at your local SARCAN Drop & Go Kiosk.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: MUNCH CAFE
Munch has received a grant to provide activities that create social opportunities for seniors. Part of the vision for Munch is to eventually turn it into a hub for inclusive activities, including things that will appeal to seniors. If there are any seniors who would be interested in volunteering to create some social events - for example a weekly karaoke night, or a chair tai chi group, or a bridge club, cribbage tournament, etc., please let us know. There could be a part time job in this for someone too. We'll be looking for people to help come up with the ideas, then some volunteers to help run the events, and probably one part time coordinator to make it all run.
