"Habibi, my love, that's enough," are some of the last words spoken by a young man with down's syndrome and autism, who could barely speak at all, as he was being mauled to death by an Israeli army attack dog in his home whilst petting the dog's head and asking it to stop. After being kicked out and some arrested, and told by IOF he'd be medically treated, his family came back home a week later to find his decomposed corpse.
Half the money raised will go to UNRWA, the UN organization in Palestine, and half to Palestinian Child's Relief Fund, since the kids are getting the worst of it.

Crushed is an art installation on the topic of climate anxiety. Amy Snider's MFA Graduating Exhibition is a full disclosure of her own distress over the state of the environment due to the climate crisis. Through this work, she shows others that such feelings are legitimate and shared. She works towards de-stigmatizing this topic, believing that we need everyone who cares to be able to say. Connecting with others and taking action together are the two best means of staving off despair, as Amy has experienced herself. Visitors to the show are also invited to a free in-gallery event titled "Climate Anxiety Conversation and Support" at 7pm on Aug 27th. Certified counsellor Russell Charlton and counseling psychologist Amber Klatt will co-facilitate a conversation on distress caused by environmental crises.
