Friends of the Regina Public Library invite you to join Architectural Critic Adele Weder, Architectural Modernist Advocate Cheryl Cooper, and artist Jeannie Mah on a walking tour of Kiyoshi Izumi’s Modernist Central Library, to celebrate its beauty and significance for Regina’s heritage, and to understand its status within the Victoria Park Heritage Conservation District. The RPL Board's current "renewal" plans would lead to the Library building new on the site, therefore demolishing the current building, or moving elsewhere and selling the building. We must not allow this to happen!

Fall Group Description:
EcoStress Sask is offering a fall group from October 15th to December 17th, 2024. Meetings will be weekly on Tuesdays at 7pm Saskatchewan time by Zoom.
This ten-week long group will be a place where people can come together in mutual support for distress related to environmental threats and losses. Group meetings will include conversation, sharing, guidance in grounding practices, self-care, and more. The group will follow the Good Grief Network’s 10 Steps to Resilience & Empowerment in a Chaotic Climate.
If you are interested in further information but cannot attend the info-session, or if you would like to be on our email list to find out about upcoming events, email ecostresssask@gmail.com.
Our non-profit organization runs on a "pay what you can" model with $300 suggested for the ten-week long group. We do not want cost to be a barrier. Everyone is welcome. Groups may decide to continue meeting on their own (without a facilitator) beyond the ten weeks.

Stride Advocacy is hosting a three day intensive training in Regina to strengthen community-based human rights advocacy. Please share this opportunity with your networks!
This free training opportunity provides opportunities for advocates to strengthen their awareness and understanding of human rights and discrimination, network with other advocates and organizations, and build or enhance skills to advance the rights of communities/community members facing systemic barriers using the human rights mechanisms that exist for accountability.
