Jamie Reynolds is an Indigenous artist and educator from Pasqua First Nation. Her work ranges from the abstract to realism, often a combination of the two, and is inspired by dreams, nature and history. She has spent the last decade teaching, creating, facilitating, working, curating, administrating, painting, building, sculpting and learning in the arts community.
As an extension of Prince Albert ICARE’s Colonialism on Canvas event, Regina participants will have the opportunity to use art as a medium to explore how settler colonialism has shaped their identity in Saskatchewan. Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels safe to discuss the effects of settler colonialism in their lives through sharing experiences and creating new ones.

Since the end of the last century with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the disappearance of the Soviet Union, NATO has been on the move. Its “out of area” military operation in Afghanistan in 2011, lasted for 20 years. Since 1994 the African counties Algeria, Egypt, Mauretania, Morocco and Tunisia are together with Israel and Jordan in the NATO partnership program Mediterranean Dialog (MD) NATO. Thus began a “Global NATO,” project to use the NATO military alliance beyond its own charter obligations from the South China Sea to the Caribbean Sea forwarded to Australia.
