Fall Group Description:
EcoStress Sask is offering a fall group from October 15th to December 17th, 2024. Meetings will be weekly on Tuesdays at 7pm Saskatchewan time by Zoom.
This ten-week long group will be a place where people can come together in mutual support for distress related to environmental threats and losses. Group meetings will include conversation, sharing, guidance in grounding practices, self-care, and more. Our non-profit organization runs on a "pay what you can" model with $300 suggested for the ten-week long group. We do not want cost to be a barrier. Everyone is welcome. Groups may decide to continue meeting on their own (without a facilitator) beyond the ten weeks.

This free training opportunity provides opportunities for advocates to strengthen their awareness and understanding of human rights and discrimination, network with other advocates and organizations, and build or enhance skills to advance the rights of communities/community members facing systemic barriers using the human rights mechanisms that exist for accountability.
