TODAY: THURSDAY MAY 8, NOON—RALLY AT THE LEG—SASK PARTY GUILTY OF SOCIAL MURDER
We will demonstrate to the provincial government that we will have no more lives lost to their inadequate social services policies.
For example, a person on the provinces Saskatchewan Income Support or SIS program gets $1,025 a month, clearly not enough to live on!
A person on the Saskatchewan Assured Income For Disability or SAID program gets on average $1,380 a month: better than SIS but still not enough to live on.
Raise the Sis and Said rates above the poverty line! Stop Committing Social Murder!!!

SPECIAL APPEAL: NEEDED--VOLUNTEERS TO WORK ON THE KNOX-MET PEACE GARDEN
Please let me know if you are interested. As well as working on the garden, it is an opportunity to learn about gardening from Regina’s own Master Gardener, Phil Johnson. It’s only about 2X a month you will be called—and if you can’t go, no problem. Thanks to those who responded to the last appeal!
