This webinar rally brings together voices from Haiti, Venezuela, Palestine, Africa, and struggles against mining and resource extraction to insist that internationalism, anti-imperialism and anti-militarism should be central to the debate. Speakers will highlight Canada’s role in coups, sanctions, occupations, wars and corporate abuses abroad—and how these choices are tied to racism, austerity, climate breakdown and attacks on democracy at home. The event is not about endorsing any party or candidate. It is about defending the basic democratic principle that members should be able to hear, and decide on, critical perspectives on Canadian foreign policy rather than having them screened out by a three-person vetting committee.
