Community and student advocates for a ceasefire in Gaza will be attending legislative proceedings in Regina to hold our provincial government accountable.

- Bring your ID to present to security when you arrive
- Ask to be seated in the East or West Gallery
- Flags, signs, etc. are not permitted in the Legislature
- Cameras and phones are not permitted in the Legislature

Please arrive promptly at 1pm.

In October the Saskatchewan Party proclaimed its “unwavering support” for Israel and provided $100,000 in emergency aid. No support of any kind has been offered to the people of Palestine. We must hold the province accountable for supporting genocide and make clear that we expect it to join the growing global movement demanding an immediate ceasefire.

[ We are very appreciative Tristen Durocher has agreed to speak and perform at this event: Tristen knows that even small positive changes can lead to great things – and he has been instrumental in creating those changes. Inspired by the defeat of a suicide prevention bill in the Saskatchewan Legislature, Tristen created the “Walking with Our Angels” campaign to raise awareness of the disproportionately high rate of suicide among Northern and Indigenous peoples, walking 635 km from his home in Air Ronge, SK, to the Legislative grounds in Regina, SK. He set up a teepee and started a 44-day ceremonial fast to convince the provincial government to adopt the bill it had recently voted down. The bill ultimately passed in April 2021.
Letter writing has always been at the heart of Amnesty International’s work and over 60 years of activism shows us that words have power.
