THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 6 – 8 pm: JUSTICE FOR BECCA, CANDLELIGHT VIGIL, LEGISLATIVE BUILDING
Rebecca August Wilson was assaulted and ultimately murdered between August 14 and August 30, just steps behind her mother’s house. So far, the family has received no crucial updates on the situation for suspects. Becky was a pillar of light walking in a dark world, offering laughter and faith. The system failed her, and the people who should have protected her didn’t. We will find justice for her and continue to find ways to advocate for Indigenous women’s rights.
