Premier Doer,

May I ask , based on the recent release of the cessation of the moratorium in July, if it your intention to allow a further increase in the number of new hog barns in Manitoba ?

If this is so, do you intend to continue the massive subsidies to the industry to cover capital costs, and to allow them to pay dividends, when, according to arecent statistics, they are losing up to $60 per head on present sales ?

This would be massively reinforcing and rewarding a failed industry, which was only ever viable through taxpayers subsidies.

I hope I have misread the intent of your release.

Sincerely, Phil Bladen.
