5982 Leadnow supporters have already filled in our snap poll on the government’s new proposed CBC cuts. Here are the results so far:
- 81% disagree with the proposed budget cuts to the CBC
- 83% of our supporters think we should fight back against huge cuts to the CBC that could threaten the future of public broadcasting in Canada.
Misinformation is exploding and fuelling divisive politics that’s leading to the rise of the far-right. Local newsrooms are disappearing. Now the federal government is proposing cuts that could weaken one of the last major public news sources Canadians rely on.
