Today as Spain defies Trump the commemoration of Niilo Makela reminds us of our shared history in fighting for liberty and standing up to fascist aggression. We stand together at this moment - Canada and Spain.

We say “Elbows Up”; the Spanish volunteers said “No Pasaran” (they shall not pass)."
