Well, if you're a president who has done nothing to reassure the nation, as hundreds are still missing in the horrific Texas flood disaster, why not do something crazy?

Like messing with a vital supply chain?

Or you could be a decent human being and do what leaders do — visit the site of the tragedy and reassure people that you are determined to take responsibility so that such a nightmare never happens again.

But Donald, being Donald, he has no intention of doing the right thing. Instead, he's opted to declare war on America's newest enemy — copper.

Yes, copper.

With no warning or apparent reason, he has imposed a 50% tariff on the metal. This is just the latest in a long string of stunts and arbitrary actions that have upended the global economy.

Just two days ago, he TACO'd on his vow to bring home 90 new trade deals in 90 days. But that announcement tanked so now Trump is delaying some of the tariffs while ranting about "bad players" in other countries.

Those seemingly "bad players" are nations who are refusing to roll over and are playing hardball back at the United States.

More market uncertainty. . . . ."
