Dear Opposition Members of Parliament, House of Commons --

It's an imperial USA war regime's deceitful march of folly, and a Canadian folly of "follow the leader" -- with slogans like "support our NATO allies, support our troops, support democracy", etc.
However, we all know it's all about oil as it has been for about a hundred years, at least since 1909, when the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (now British Petroleum) got a head start in Persia and the Ottoman Empire, with France, Germany, Italy, Russia, and then the USA joining the Great Game which the American former Secretary of State Brzezinski now calls the Grand Chessboard, on which Canada plays as the USA's versatile Knight, now positioned in Kandahar and in Helmand province of Afghanistan.
It was a mistake to support the British Empire then, and it's a mistake now to follow the USA drive for hegemony, even buying new USA fighter planes for billions of dollars to prepare Canada to support their oil wars who knows where in 2020.
(I am quite aware that wealthy Canadian interests have large investments in war industries and American international corporations. Such involvement can, nay must also switch to peaceful, sustainable, socially responsible industry in peaceful countries.)
Now is the time for Canada to switch sides, to make new peaceful alliance with countries like Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Cuba and a reformed United Nations, more effective for peace and environmental leadership.
Also join with all the world's peace and environmental protection social movements. At stake is the well being of the whole earth and all its people. Such a new alliance can lead the world into more rational sane sustainable development. The USA, UK, and NATO allies are unhelpful, to understate reality.
All earth is at risk of permanent imperial wars among the great powers, plus an industrial commercial consumer race among the new great powers, a race to take us all down to hell.
We need social well being without massive new growth in consumption of natural resources. Cuba is a better model than the USA or China or India or even the EU with respect to sustainable economics and more universal equity, less absolute poverty.
