Oliver vows to table 'balanced budget' on April 21

The Conservative government will table the 2015 budget on Tuesday April 21.

Finance Minister Joe Oliver made the announcement Thursday morning in Toronto at the Canada Goose clothing manufacturing plant.

“It will be a balanced budget, just as we promised,” he said.

The minister provided few details as to the contents of the budget, other than to say it will not be focused on spending cuts and will contain investments for the future.
